Riverview Kids

Children's Church, for ages 4 through 3rd grade, meets each Sunday during the message. Click here to see some exciting updates.
In light of COVID-19, all infant and toddler care has been temporarily suspended. Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the service, however, if you are more comfortable, the nursery and toddler rooms have been turned into care rooms, where the service will be live streamed.

At Riverview, small groups are integral to our goal of glorifying God by developing mature followers of Jesus Christ through the power of his Word. We aren’t a church that happens to have small groups; we are a small-group-driven church that prioritizes the community that small groups foster. Our corporate time of worship on Sunday is essential, but often deeper growth takes place in the context of life-on-life relationships. Our small groups are a place to serve, to grow, and to build meaningful friendships around the Word. Click here to find a small group that works for you.

Sundays, 6:00–7:30
We invite your children from kindergarten through sixth grade to participate in our Kids4Truth club! Held on Sunday evenings from 6:00–7:30pm, we use lessons, memory and recitation, songs, and rewards to fortify young hearts and minds with the essential teachings of authentic Christian faith. Though we have a lot of fun, our primary goal is to help boys and girls know, love, and worship God by grounding them in solid biblical truth. Our desire is that through this ministry, children will learn not just what Christians believe, but also why they believe it. Click here to register or find out more about Kids4Truth at Riverview.

Offerings of Gratitude

Our God is wonderfully triune: three distinct persons in one nature. We are saved by the trinity, through the trinity, and for the glory of the trinity. For the next four weeks, we want to offer thanksgiving for each member of the Godhead. Use the wood slices in the pews to share what you are thankful for in reference to the featured member of the Godhead. You will have opportunity during the service to place these in the baskets, at the front of the church.

Gentle and Lowly - The Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers
Christians know what Jesus Christ has done—but who is he? What is his deepest heart for his people, weary and faltering on their journey toward heaven? Jesus said he is “gentle and lowly in heart.” This book reflects on these words, opening up a neglected yet central truth about who he is for sinners and sufferers today.
